Berikut adalah senarai Error code yang biasa berlaku bagi printer Canon Mp287.

An Error Code Is Displayed on the LED

 

Alarm Lamp Is Lit Orange

When a machine error occurs, the Alarm lamp is lit orange and the error code as follows is displayed on the LED. Check the error code displayed on the LED and take the appropriate action to correct the error.

* Depending on the error occurred, the Alarm lamp is not lit.

Error Code	Cause
E, 0, 2 (LED display)	The machine is out of paper./Paper does not feed.
E, 0, 3 (LED display)	Paper Output Tray is closed./Paper jam.
E, 0, 4 E, 0, 5 (LED display)	The FINE Cartridge cannot be recognized.
E, 0, 7 (LED display)	FINE Cartridge is not installed in the correct position.
E, 0, 8 (LED display)	Ink absorber is almost full.
E, 1, 3 (LED display)	The remaining ink level cannot be detected.
E, 1, 4 (LED display)	The FINE Cartridge cannot be recognized.
E, 1, 5 (LED display)	The FINE Cartridge cannot be recognized.
E, 1, 6 (LED display)	The ink has run out.
E, 3, 0 (LED display)	The size of the original cannot be correctly detected or the document is too small when the Fit-to-Page copying is selected.
E, 3, 1 (LED display)	The machine is not connected with the computer.
E, 5, 0 (LED display)	Scanning the print head alignment sheet has failed.

POWER Lamp Flashes Green and Alarm Lamp Flashes Orange Alternately

When the POWER and Alarm lamps flash alternately as shown below, and the error code as follows is displayed on the LED, an error requiring servicing might have occurred.
 

Error Code	Action
P, 0, 2 (LED display)	Cancel printing, turn off the machine. Then clear the jammed paper or protective material that is preventing the FINE Cartridge Holder from moving, and turn on the machine again. Important Be careful not to touch the components inside the machine. The machine may not print out properly if you touch it. If the problem is not resolved, contact the service center.
P, 1, 0 (LED display)	Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply. Contact the service center.
Other cases than above:	Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply. Plug the machine back in and turn the machine back on. If the problem is not resolved, contact the service center.

How to run CCleaner from a USB drive

  provide a special version of CCleaner you can install to and run from a USB drive.

 Why would you use this? Well, if you go to an Internet cafe and browse the Web from there, you can use CCleaner portable on a USB stick to erase your browsing tracks. Or, if you want to erase some data from your work PC and they won't let you install software, the portable version of CCleaner can come in very handy.

Note: CCleaner Portable and CCleaner do exactly the same thing.

1. Download the latest CCleaner Portable version (a ZIP file) at http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds.
2. Unzip the contents of the ZIP file into a folder.

The contents of this folder contain all the files you need to run CCleaner Portable. You can now copy this folder to a USB stick.

To run CCleaner Portable, double-click the CCleaner.exe file in the CCleaner Portable folder.
